Ruby Bluesday

Ruby Bluesday captures a moment of melancholy familiar to young lives today. The weight of headlines and the heavy responsibility of what sort of future awaits this generation are present in the eyes and smirk of this young woman. The composition flows from stern to almost celestial abstraction; analogous to complementary colors. Full of contradiction; she's just trying to figure out a world with no rules.
