Nomad

A wanderer in the desert, coming and going as they please. That was my first thought when I saw the zebra. Having never seen one in the wild I never had given though to that until now. They are stark white and deep black splashes amongst the warm browns and oranges of the grasslands and yet they fit like the perfect puzzle piece the desert was missing. But still, I can’t help but be envious of them and their distinctiveness; something so bold and yet so calm is a trait I wish we all had. To be totally and completely ourselves and yet perfectly at home wherever we are.
