Flask

Free-blown ribbon flask of several canes of the same type: a translucent violet glass matrix encasing an opaque white. Assembled canes formed a gather that was partially inflated; the cane surface was vertically combed to create a zig-zag pattern; subsequently the gather was fully inflated and the shape created. The rim was enlarged and finished after its removal from the blowpipe.
